Electrical Engineering – Autonomous Surface Systems

Work description

Coordination and implementation of R&D projects and knowledge enhancement, preparation of R&D project applications, team management and guidance of junior researchers, scientific production aimed at international journals and conferences, intervention in the scientific and professional communities, as well as coordination and participation in scientific and technological dissemination initiatives, particularly in the area of ??Electrical Engineering – Visual Perception of Autonomous Underwater Systems.

Academic Qualifications

PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Minimum profile required

PhD with experience in projects funded directly by the European Commission (H2020, Horizon Europe or similar). Four or more scientific publications in Q1 journals. PhD dissertation in the area of ??Underwater Vision. Technological innovation capacity proven by the development of underwater perception prototypes.

Preference factors

Participation or organization of validation and demonstration campaigns of autonomous systems; Knowledge of C++ and ROS. Knowledge of prototyping and hardware design. Experience in maritime robotic technologies.
