Work description
This work plan is part of a PhD thesis with the following goals: - Implementation of a controller for a Software-Defined Storage platform capable of controlling the data flow between applications and storage systems present at a distributed infrastructures (e.g., advanced computing); - Experimental validation of the controller with realistic and synthetic workloads.
Academic Qualifications
MSc Degree in Informatics Engineering.
Minimum profile required
- Solid knowledge on storage systems and distributed systems.- Experience on SDS controllers research.- Solid knowledge on I/O management for distributed infrastructures.
Preference factors
Experience on implementing SDS controllers.
