Development of a multi-symbiotic assessment model applied to wastewater treatment plants for the overall reduction of greenhouse gas emissions

Work description

- Preparation of a state-of-the-art review; - Support for the development of models and the implementation of multi-aspect use cases for industrial symbiosis in the context of complex wastewater treatment systems; - Investigation of the relationships between industrial symbiosis, circularity and carbon sinks that may be associated with the WWTP; - Preparation of technical and scientific documentation.

Academic Qualifications

Master’s degree in systems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or a related field.

Minimum profile required

- Master’s degree average above 14;- Fluency in Portuguese, both spoken and written.

- knowledge of complex systems engineering concepts - knowledge of process modelling - knowledge of the circular economy and industrial symbiosis - knowledge of regenerative systems - knowledge of simulation tools - knowledge of software development
