Artificial Intelligence; Multi-Agent Systems

Work description

The scholarship's area of training is Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on studying approaches that facilitate the integration of tools typically used in industry, such as simulation, planning and/or optimisation tools and models, with new approaches to industrial AI, namely those based on agents and Multi-Agent Systems. The main objective is to conduct a structured survey of the potential applications of Generative AI in industry and contribute to the development of domain/task-specific agents. Specifically, the main activities to be carried out by the scholarship holder are: - Conduct a structured survey and characterisation of high-value industrial tasks with the potential for applying Generative AI techniques; - Specifying the technical requirements necessary for the implementation of the identified tasks; - Collaborating in the development of agents specialised in the identified domain and/or task; - Collaborating in the development and validation in a real scenario; - Collaborating in the writing of technical-scientific documents and the scholarship activity report.
