The project manager at INESC TEC, José Correia, has explained that the purpose was to «plan and develop a platform that would support a methodology to be implemented in companies, industrial units, in different areas, or in office buildings and houses».
The pilot-project for the
online platform, which is called Ecopplanner, will start being tested next week
by a company producing animal feed, Sorgal, but it can be used in varied
sectors, including in cellulose of beer factories.
