Abstract
The global competitiveness and the organizations ability to make effective use of information technology and to focus on innovation and creativity are recognized as being important. The perspective of using creativity techniques or some adaptations, to help innovation in the area of information systems seems to be promising. In this article we propose a strategy for the introduction of creativity in the information systems planning in order to build more agile and efficient information systems, allowing therefore more competitive business.

WEBIST 2010: PROCEEDINGS OF THE 6TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON WEB INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY, VOL 2

Abstract
Web accessibility is growing in importance as each day goes by. Alongside with this growth, also the need of access to web resources, by those with some sort of disability, is increasing. The web is very important for spreading information and for the interaction between the various society elements. Given this, it's mandatory that the web presents itself as a totally accessible resource, so that it can help the disable citizens in their integration within the society. This obligation should be even bigger for the enterprises because, in their majority, the web is used as a marketing and business platform. This document is meant to be a position paper regarding the comparison of results between web accessibility evaluations of the Portuguese websites using version 1 and version 2 of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

Abstract
The Internet is extremely important for the publishing of information and for the interaction between the society elements. Due to this, it's essential that the web presents itself accessible to all, including those with any kind of disability. An accessible web may help the handicapped citizens interact with the society in a more active way. This paper presents a study made with a universe of 777 Portuguese biggest enterprises, using a W3C referenced tool (SortSite), and presents some statistical results according to the Portuguese Classification of the Enterprises Activities. The achieved results present a serious troubled reality that's preventing the disabled citizens from having the same access rights to the World Wide Web as the "non-disabled" citizens.

Abstract
The Internet is extremely important for the publishing of information and for the interaction between the society elements. Due to this, it's essential that the web presents itself accessible to all, including those with any kind of disability. An accessible web may help the handicapped citizens interact with the society in a more active way, including the electronic public procurement platforms. This paper presents a study made with a universe of 8 Portuguese certified platforms (by CEGER), using a W3C referenced tool (TotalValidator), and presents some statistical results according to the Portuguese Classification of the Enterprises Activities.

Towards an Ontology to Enforce Enterprise Architecture Mining

Authors

Proceedings of the 25th International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems, ICEIS 2023, Volume 2, Prague, Czech Republic, April 24-26, 2023.

Abstract
Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a coherent set of principles, methods, and models that express the structure of an enterprise and its IT landscape. EA mining uses data mining techniques to automate EA modelling tasks. Ontologies help to define concepts and the relationships among these concepts to describe a domain of interest This work presents an extensible ontology for EA mining focused on extracting architectural models that use logs from an API gateway as the data source. The proposed ontology was developed using the OntoUML language to ensure its quality and avoid anti-patterns through ontology rule checks. Then, a hypothesized scenario using data structures close to the real is used to simulate the ontology application and validate its theoretical feasibility as well as its contribution to the Enterprise Architecture Management field. Abstract
Water scarcity is becoming an issue of more significant concern with a major impact on global sustainability. For it, new measures and approaches are urgently needed. Digital technologies and tools can play an essential role in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of current water management approaches. Therefore, a solution is proposed and validated, given the limited presence of models or technological architectures in the literature to support intelligent water management systems for domestic use. It is based on a layered architecture, fully designed to meet the needs of households and to do so through the adoption of technologies such as the Internet of Things and cloud computing. By developing a prototype and using it as a use case for testing purposes, we have concluded the positive impact of using such a solution. Considering this is a first contribution to overcome the problem, some issues will be addressed in a future work, namely, data and device security and energy and traffic optimisation issues, among several others.
