Abstract
The use of the web is quickly spreading to the majority of the society. In many countries the use of the web in government services, education and training, commerce, news, citizenship, health and entertainment is significantly increasing. The web is extremely important for the dissemination of information and the interaction between the various society elements. Due to this, it's essential that the web presents itself accessible to all, including those with any kind of disability. An accessible web may help the handicapped citizens in their interaction with the society. With this in mind, an evaluation of the accessibility levels of the Portuguese websites is, essential, for an assumption on the availability of these websites to all disabled citizens.

Abstract
Economic activities are part of everyday life since always. The banking sector has a large dimension that exists for a long time, doing a major contribution to economic growth in Portugal. In this new millennium the advent of Internet has had a significant impact on the banking service that is traditionally offered by banks to customers. With help of the Internet, customers can access its banking services anytime, anywhere, since Internet access is available. This service is called Electronic Banking (EB), being in explosive growth in many countries, transforming the traditional banking practices. With this paper, we intend review, evaluate and characterize the technological solutions of EB in Portugal.

Abstract
Maturity models describe the maturing of the use of information systems in organizations. They are a useful framework to describe an organization's current position as well as a range of possible position in the future in terms of their e-business maturity. The relationship between Information Technology (IT) and e-business maturity is examined. We used a model of c-business maturity, Stages Of Growth for e-business (SOGe) model, to put an organization in a maturity stage. In our survey we presented a set of technologies and we asked to enterprises which of them are implemented, in development, planned or inexistent. We concluded that there is a strongly correlation between IT implementation and the e-business maturity.

Abstract
Web accessibility is growing in importance as each day goes by. Alongside this growth, is also the increasing need for access to web resources by those with some sort of disability. The web is very important for spreading information and for the interaction between the various elements in society. Given this, it is essential that the web presents itself as a totally accessible resource, so that it can help disabled citizens in their integration within society. This obligation should be even greater for enterprises as primarily the web is used as a marketing and business platform. With this document we would like to present indicators regarding the accessibility levels of Portuguese websites and, we would also like to present a brief comparison between the accessibility levels of the 1000 largest Portuguese enterprises' websites and the accessibility levels of the 1000 best Portuguese SMEs' websites.

Abstract
Organizations with a presence in the Second Life (R) world typically only provide direct user interaction with staff at specific schedules, or not at all. We present a system that provides organizations with a simple way to enable constant interaction with users of the Second Life world, by simulating staff presence using automated avatars as communication channels to real-life staff by means of instant messaging and short message service technologies. Staff members are assigned to communication with Second Life avatars based on a hierarchy of information desk staffing priorities, and communication is bidirectional.

Abstract
Prototypes are valuable tools in Data Warehouse (DW) projects. DW prototypes can help end-users to get an accurate preview of a future DW system, along with its advantages and constraints. However, DW prototypes have considerably smaller development time windows when compared to complete DW projects. This puts additional pressure on the achievement of the expected prototypes' high quality standards, especially at the highly time consuming multidimensional design: in it, a thin margin for harmful unreflected decisions exists. Some devised methods for automating DW multidimensional design can be used to accelerate this stage, yet they are more suitable to DW full projects rather than to prototypes, due to the effort, cost and expertise they require. This paper proposes the semi-automation of DW multidimensional designs using templates. We believe this approach better fits the development speed and cost constraints of DW prototyping since templates are pre-built highly adaptable and highly reusable solutions.
