INESC TEC develops an interactive 360 video creation platform with immersive audio

INESC TEC’s Centre for Information Systems and Computer Graphics (CSIG) developed a 360 video editing and viewing tool, which enables the creation of interactive experiences that explore not only the 360º video aspect, with interactive visual elements, but also the interactive sound component.

Mobile application developed to prevent and treat Peripheral Arterial Disease

The Angiology and Vascular Surgery (Porto University Hospital Centre) is developing, in partnership with INESC TEC and the Research Centre in Sports Sciences, Health Sciences and Human Development (CIDESD) of the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), the WalkingPAD project that aims to study and develop an outpatient exercise programme, focusing on the education and co-responsibility of patients with Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).

The article A Survey on the Adoption of Patterns for Engineering Software for the Cloud, about good practices on systems development in the Cloud, was recently published in IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, one of the most prestigious international journals in the field of Software Engineering. The authors, Tiago Boldt Sousa, Hugo Sereno Ferreira, and Filipe Correia, are both INESC TEC researchers and lecturers at FEUP.
