Abstract
In the field of immersive learning, instructors often find it challenging to match their pedagogical approaches and content knowledge with specific technologies. Unfortunately, this usually results in either a lack of technology use or inappropriate use of some technologies. Teachers and trainers wishing to use immersive learning environments face a diversity of technological and pedagogical alternatives. To scaffold educators in their planning of immersive learning educational activities, we devised a recommendation tool, which maps educational context variables to the dimensions of immersion and uses educators' contexts to identify the closest educational uses. Sample educational activities for those uses are then presented, for various types of educational methodologies. Educators can use these samples to plan their educational activities in line with their current resources or to innovate by pursuing entirely different approaches.

Abstract
Among the different approaches to implementing Agility, the Scrum, created in the late 1980s, has stood out as the most used tool by the software development industry. Understand how the concepts underlying this approach, such as ceremonies and time boxes, have been adapted to meet the situation of telework imposed by social distancing to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, experienced by the elements of the software development teams, presents an opportunity to learn what are the most efficient ways to use its process. It was observed how Scrum was applied in practice by software development teams during the mandatory telework period and from there, it will be look for better ways to do it, either by developing new technological tools, or using existing tools, to support the ceremonies, or, by creating new processes to support such evolution on methodology's process.

Research Anthology on Managing Crisis and Risk Communications

Abstract
Although the literature on crisis communication is quite vast, business communication related to global crises (e.g., natural disasters) is largely unexplored. This chapter aims to fill this gap and shed light on brand communication strategies during a pandemic. A netnographic study was carried out with the purpose of identifying brand positioning and communication strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak and of understanding the engagement of brands' followers during that period. The study included four brands of large Brazilian companies and comprised the analysis of brands' feed on Instagram during the first five weeks of the outbreak in Brazil. Findings enable to identify two distinct profiles: unprepared brands and leading brands. The chapter provides valuable clues for both managers and researchers dealing with crisis communication. © 2023, IGI Global. All rights reserved.

Optimal Coordination of Protection Devices in Distribution Networks With Distributed Energy Resources and Microgrids

Abstract
Microgrids are promising to enhance power distribution systems' efficiency, quality, sustainability, and reliability. However, microgrids operation can impose several challenges to traditional protection schemes, like changes in the power flow direction and an increase in short-circuit currents. Microgrids can include several distributed generation technologies with different behaviours during short-circuit conditions, requiring additional protection schemes and devices. In this way, the optimized coordination of reclosers and fuses in distribution networks with directional overcurrent relays, which operate as interconnection devices, might overcome many imposed protection challenges. Regarding different generation technologies, voltage-restrained overcurrent relays and frequency relays are presented as local microgrid protection for rotative and inverter-based distributed generators, respectively. The optimized coordination of these protection devices maximizes microgrid benefits and minimizes operation drawbacks by reducing interruptions impacts and energy not supplied to consumers. This work proposes, thus, a mathematical model for the optimal coordination of protection devices in distribution networks with distributed energy resources operating in grid-connected and islanded modes. The minimization technique of operating times using an elitist genetic algorithm with variable crossover and mutation processes is proposed, as well. The results show adequate coordination using passive and low-cost protection devices.

Abstract
Crowdsourcing has received considerable attention over the last fifteen years and has been the subject of several experiments that demonstrate its large potential for use in real-world situations. With the rapid growth of and access to crowd work environments, there is a need for new ways to ensure more equitable access for all people. Task design is one of the core aspects of the crowdsourcing process and its optimization is a priority for many requesters that want to have their tasks solved in short times and with high levels of accuracy. Aligned with this goal, a cognitive personalization framework can make it feasible to assess the information processing preferences of crowd workers in order to provide a useful user interface (UI) adaptation. In an effort to address this issue, this study recruited a total of 64 crowd workers to take cognitive style tests and perform prototypical tasks. The results indicate that it is possible to apply short tests and then obtain some useful indicators for better matching tasks to workers with implications for improving the general outcomes and acceptance rates in crowdsourcing.

Abstract
A low-cost single-layer substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) cavity-backed slot antenna is proposed for millimeter-wave applications. The structure is designed to operate at the W-band. The T-shaped slot antenna is placed on the back-side of the SIW and fed by a grounded coplanar waveguide (GCPW) transmission line. A transition between the (GCPW) and the SIW is also designed. The simulated results provide that the antenna has a stable gain over the frequency range (98.79-100.56) GHz with a maximum value of around 6 dBi also high radiation efficiency.
