Abstract
Real-time monitoring applications deployed in Low-power and Lossy Networks may generate flows sensitive to delay, where the information is useful for the destination only if it is received within a strict delay boundary. Data packets that will likely miss the application deadline could be discarded during their routing through the network or even be not transmitted at all, thus contributing for a better usage of the network resources. This paper presents RA-EEDEM, a set of modifications made to RPL that improve the End-to-End Delay (EED) estimation accuracy. The RA-EEDEM modifications include changes to the RPL metrics and to its Objective Function (OF). The results show that RA-EEDEM improves the accuracy of EED estimation while minimizing its impact on the average EED and Packet Reception Ratio (PRR).

Abstract
The development of Critical Embedded Systems (CES) like Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) is complex because it needs to ensure a high degree of quality, with affordable cost and delivery time. It is also necessary to ensure security since failures in this type of system can lead to catastrophic results. In this sense, a Model-Driven Development (MDD) approach presents itself as a good alternative to the traditional development because coding complexity will be reduced by the use of high level models. In addition, it avoids the introduction of coding errors by human programmers, since the critical code will be built automatically through models transformation. From another perspective, Embedded Systems Development can benefit from Software Engineering techniques like Product Lines to reduce costs and time-to-market. While other works propose the use of Product Line techniques to improve Embedded Software development, we propose a Product Line approach to the whole Critical Embedded System development life cycle, including hardware variability management. Therefore, this paper proposes a Critical Embedded System Product Line Model Based approach, which aims to reduce the above mentioned challenges. The development approach proposes a Domain Engineering and Application Engineering focused on the system, with both software and hardware. To illustrate the proposed approach we include some artifacts from a case study in the UAV domain.

Abstract
The dynamism and ongoing changes that the electricity markets sector is constantly suffering, enhanced by the huge increase in competitiveness, create the need of using simulation platforms to support operators, regulators, and the involved players in understanding and dealing with this complex environment. This paper presents an enhanced electricity market simulator, based on multi-agent technology, which provides an advanced simulation framework for the study of real electricity markets operation, and the interactions between the involved players. MASCEM (Multi-Agent Simulator of Competitive Electricity Markets) uses real data for the creation of realistic simulation scenarios, which allow the study of the impacts and implications that electricity markets transformations bring to different countries. Also, the development of an upper-ontology to support the communication between participating agents, provides the means for the integration of this simulator with other frameworks, such as MAN-REM (Multi-Agent Negotiation and Risk Management in Electricity Markets). A case study using the enhanced simulation platform that results from the integration of several systems and different tools is presented, with a scenario based on real data, simulating the MIBEL electricity market environment, and comparing the simulation performance with the real electricity market results.

For the international use of software products it is important to know the culture, language and behavior of the citizens. Means: internationalization and location. To be able to evaluate these products it is significant to know how people from a country behave and express their feelings. HUMAN INTERFACE AND THE MANAGEMENT OF INFORMATION: INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGE DESIGN AND EVALUATION, PT I
Abstract
This paper presents a graphical interface to query model-driven spreadsheets to simplify query construction for typical end-users with little to no knowledge of SQL. This was based on experience with previous work and empirical studies in querying systems. We briefly show our previous text based model-driven querying system. Afterwards, we detail our graphical model-driven querying interface, explaining each part of the interface and showing an example. To validate our work, we executed an empirical study, comparing our graphical querying approach to an alternative querying tool, which produced positive results.
