Abstract
Urban living labs (ULL) are a new concept which involves users in innovation and development and are regarded as a way of meeting the innovation challenges faced by information and communication technology (ICT) service providers. The chapter focuses on the role of urban living labs in entrepreneurship, energy and governance of smart cities, where it is performed the relationship between innovations, governance, and renewable energy. The methodology proposed will focus on content analysis and on the exploration of some European examples of implemented ULL, namely Amsterdam, Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen. The contributions of the present research should be the consolidation of knowledge about the impact of ULL on innovation and development of smart cities regarding the concepts of renewable energy, smart governance and entrepreneurship.

Abstract
Smart Governence as its roots in e-government, in the principles of good governance, and in the assumptions of citizens' participation and involvement in public decision-making and is considered one of the six main characteristics of smart cities. The present investigation was intended to answer the question: 'What smart governance practices are being implemented in European smart cities' through an extensive literature review and content analysis of the websites of six European smart cities: Amsterdam; Barcelona; Copenhagen; Lisbon; Manchester and Stockholm. The objective was to identify the presence of factors related with eparticipation; e-services; and the functioning of local public administration on the city's websites. It was concluded that all the smart cities analyzed presented some factors related with smart governance, but with different levels of development and application. © 2019 AISTI.

Abstract
Data management solutions became highly expensive and ineffective mainly due to the lack of transparent processes and procedures to measure and provide clear guidance on the steps needed to implement them. The organizations and specialists agree that the only manner solve the data management issues requires the implementation of data governance. Many of those attempts had failed previously because they were based only on IT, with rigid processes and activities frequently split by systems or the areas supported by systems and their data. It shows that Data governance has been acquiring significant relevance. However, a consensus or even a holist approach was not achieved so far. This paper that is part of an ongoing thesis research that aims to identify the main gaps and opportunities by summarizing and study the literature consistently and as result at the end of the research it will propose a standard framework for data governance measuring its impact on the Data Governance maturity level before and after its implementation and thus as contribute to the community by trying to mitigate the problems found.

Abstract
Sistemas de suporte à decisão, tecnologias de colaboração, integração, business process management (BPM) e reconstrução do processo de decisão são domínios do conhecimento que se interligam e assumem cada vez maior relevância no contexto organizacional. Tendo como objeto de análise um processo de negócio - gestão do ciclo de vida da rede de mediadores - crítico para uma organização, tentámos perceber qual o nível de suporte atual do mesmo em sistemas de informação (SI) e qual o impacto da adoção de um sistema de suporte à decisão em grupo nesse processo de negócio. A investigação consistiu na decomposição do processo atual, através de análise documental, realização de entrevistas e observação participativa aos seus principais atores, identificando as principais entropias que o afetam: dificuldade de materialização dos modelos de decisão; incapacidade de reconstrução do processo de decisão; elevado peso documental; carências de suporte em SI. Isto permitiu concluir que a adoção de uma plataforma de suporte à decisão em grupo teria um impacto positivo ao suportar a totalidade de um processo de negócio que hoje o está apenas parcialmente, potenciando a integração da informação, o envolvimento dos intervenientes e reduzindo o peso documental associado.

Abstract
O Grupo da Qualidade da Secção de Gestão (DCSG - UAb) iniciou funções no ano letivo 2011-2012. Apresenta-se aqui um resumo da atuação do grupo na analise dos resultados dos inquéritos de satisfação aos estudantes dos cursos de gestão (1 licenciatura e 2 mestrados) nos anos letivos 2011-2012 e 2012-2013. São igualmente apresentadas as ações levadas a cabo pelo grupo, com o objetivo de aumentar a qualidade dos cursos ministrados nesta secção, e algumas linhas de orientação para os docentes.

Abstract
O presente artigo tem como objeto os resultados dum estudo que teve por objetivo a investigação do uso dos sistemas e tecnologias de informação (STI) no turismo em espaço rural (TER) na região do Algarve. Os resultados foram obtidos através de um questionário eletrónico, direcionado a proprietários e/ou gestores de 51 unidades TER, no qual se procurou identificar o impacto dos STI nas variáveis: tomada de decisão; satisfação dos gestores quanto ao uso dos STI; qualidade do serviço de reservas de quarto; e resultados financeiros. O estudo permitiu concluir que, de uma forma geral, a utilização dos STI são uma componente importante na gestão das unidades TER e têm impactos positivos na identificação de problemas e minimização do seu tempo de resolução; na confiança depositada no sistema e linguagem utilizada no computador; na qualidade das reservas de quartos; e nos resultados financeiros por via da inovação em tecnologia e existência de rede na organização.;This article aims to present the results of a study that investigated the use of information systems and technologies (IST) in tourism in rural space (TRS) in the Algarve region. The results were obtained through an electronic questionnaire given to the owners and/or managers of fifty one units TRS, in which we tried to identify the impact of IST in the following variables: decision making, satisfaction of managers in the use of IST, quality of room reservations service, and financial results. The study concluded that, in general, the use of IST are an important component in the TRS units of management and have positive impacts in identifying problems and minimizing their time resolution, confidence in the system and language used in the computer, the quality of rooms reservations, and financial results through innovation in technology, and network existence in the organization.
