About

I was born on February 10, 1994 in Penafiel, Porto.

In 2011, I joined ISEP in the Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, branch of Electronics and Computers, concluded 3 years later.

Also in 2014, I started the Master degree in Electrical Engineering, branch of Autonomous Systems at the Autonomous Systems Laboratory, based on ISEP, where I got in contact with INESC TEC institution.

I am a researcher at INESC TEC since July 2016, working with autonomous multirotor robots.

Abstract
This paper presents the autononomous aerial vehicle OTUS and its application to search and rescue scenarios, namely the participation on the EuRathlon 2015 competition. The OTUS robot was developed at INESC TEC/ ISEP for research in cooperative aerial robotics and applications in complex and dynamic environments. The system was validated in this challenging scenario and was able to win the Grand Challenge scenario in cooperation with a land and marine robotics partner teams.
