- Design and simulate different architectures for the antenna unit cell, capable of achieving a fractional bandwidth larger than 5%. - Incorporate the unit cell design into an high gain antenna array (up to 32x32 elements), and optimize the unit cell characteristics having as goal achieving impedance matching in the full scanning range, while ensuring the bandwidth and radiation efficiency requirements are also met. - Writing of the grant activities report.
MSc in Electrical Engineering, or similar.
Minimum profile required
- Basic knowledge of antenna design.
- Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation and experimental characterization of antennas/microwave devices.
