1. Literature review of relevant works, regarding reflect-array antennas. 2. Familiarization with 3D electromagnetic simulator HFSS through the realization of proposed examples. 3. Characterize experimentally a set of samples based on graphene patterns. 4. Design an antenna element in HFSS considering the properties of the measured samples. 5. Scale the design to a 1x4 array and define a set of electrostatic polarization vectors that allow controlling the array radiation pattern. 6. Implement in a microcontroller a program to control the electrostatic polarization vectors. 7. Writing of the grant activities report.
Degree or Master in Electrical Engineering, or similar.
Minimum profile required
- Basic knowledge of antenna design.
- Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation, and experimental characterization of antennas/microwave devices.
