Work description
Requirements analysis and planning of inspection, maintenance and environmental monitoring activities to be carried out by aerial and submarine robotic systems in the demonstration of offshore energy production (photovoltaic and wave energy) within the European project EU-SCORES. Participation in the development of specific solutions and adaptation of existing robots in the INESC TEC with the purpose of carrying out activities with robotic systems. Mission tracking and field testing. Results analysis obtained with the purpose of the integration of robotic systems in O&M processes and environmental monitoring in large-scale multidisciplinary offshore energy parks and their economic impact on the construction and operation of these parks.
Academic Qualifications
Master in Electrotechnical Engineering
Minimum profile required
Master in Electrotechnical Engineering and experience in mobile robot programming and operation
Preference factors
Experience in mobile robot development; knowledge of ROS; Knowledge of programming in mobile robotics; knowledge of autonomous navigation; Experience with autonomous aerial vehicles; Experience with underwater robotic vehicles; Scientific publications in the area related to the work to be carried out.
