Work description
Characterize and analyse the recent evolution and current situation of the wildfire risk governance system in Portugal, seeking to better understand its deficits, and suggest future adaptations that may lead to a more cohesive system able to perform more effectively through time, guaranteeing a low fire risk exposure to forests, property, and lives, in both rural and urban interfaces.
Academic Qualifications
PhD in Engineering and Public Policy, Industrial Engineering and Management, or equivalent.
Minimum profile required
Experience and advanced knowledge in analytics, optimization, simulation and system dynamics research techniques. At least 1 year of postdoctoral experience.
Preference factors
Research experience in engineering systems or engineering and public policy.
