Work description

This project is articulated with the completion of a Master's thesis in Physical Engineering under the theme "Bayesian structure learning with quantum resources". - Perform an extensive literature review on Bayesian structure and parameter learning in a quantum setting. - Implement a case study of a quantum Bayesian structure learning process (with access to IBM Q quantum devices). - Characterization and comparison efficiency and accuracy between the classical and quantum algorithms for Bayesian structure learning. - Write up a MSC dissertation reporting on this work.

Academic Qualifications

Master's student in Physical Engineering

Minimum profile required

- Successful completion of Course Units in their studies in Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Information and Quantum Computing.- domain of Qiskit tool over IBM Q

Preference factors

- knowledge and experience in quantum computing. - mastery of the English language
