Work description
- Enlarge the knowledge of the state of the art regarding energy consumption in the industry sector and impact in electrical network investements; - Identification and selection of the most adequate optimization methods to address this problem: - Develop the research skills through the application of the selected methods; - Apply the scientific method on the research process and a critical attitude on the obtained results.
Academic Qualifications
MSc in Electrical Engineering, or similar; The awarding of the grant is dependent on the applicants' enrolment in study cycle or non-award courses of Higher Education Institutions
Minimum profile required
Average grade on MSc of 12 out of 20;Two papers published in the Proceedings of International Conferences of Journals with peer review;
Preference factors
- Experience in models for electrical network planning; - Deep knowledge on traditional optimization techniques for linear and non-linear problems; - Knowledge on metaheuristic techniques;
