The ESGRIDS project aims to develop new solutions to meet the challenges of future energy systems. The researcher will work on building scenarios for validating advanced grid management tools (e.g., optimization of distributed energy resources). Laboratory tests will be performed to validate adaptive control strategies, considering the different modes of operation (e.g., islanding) that compromise the safety of the power grid.
PhD in Computer science, Electrotechnical Engineering or similar.
Minimum profile required
Solid knowledge in electric power systems. Experience in modelling and optimization of electric distribution systems; Advanced programming skills (C and C++).
Experience in projects in the field of energy; programming applied to power systems; experience in the development of control algorithms.
