Work description

To develop a bidirectional data exchange system for charging stations (CS) for electric vehicles (EVs). The identification of the main communications and connectivity solutions for CS will be carried out, including the supporting HW. A set of SW modules will be developed capable of exchanging information (state of operation, settings, metering, control, etc.) with the CS. An integration with energy optimization platforms will be done to allow EVs in energy efficiency actions for buildings.

Academic Qualifications

Students enrolled for the 1st time in 1st cycle of higher education or in a master's degree.

Minimum profile required

Knowledge in databases and communication systemsKnowledge in programming and experience in using servers;Fluency in Portuguese;

Preference factors

Exp. in standards and protocols for charging stations for electric vehicles (ISO 15118, OCPP, etc.) and embedded systems Knowledge in operating systems: Linux and Windows Fluency in English
