Work description
- To conduct a review of the state of the art - To identify case studies and analyse their requirements; - To develop and implement an optimisation model for balancing an assembly line, in order to improve the operational efficiency of the line. - To design scenarios and test and validation instances of the developed model, taking into account different requirements of the problem - To carry out and finish the Master's dissertation; - To write the scholarship activity report.
Academic Qualifications
MSc student in Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in Production Engineering and Management.
Minimum profile required
MSc student in Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in Production Engineering and Management.
Preference factors
- Knowledge in production line planning and balancing; - Experience in object oriented programming; - Strong capacity for teamwork; - Knowledge of English and Portuguese.
