Malicious source code detection

Work description
The fellow should implement a malicious source code detection model and validate it with samples of benign and malicious source code. The fellow should also explore different approaches for source code representation, and validate the performance of the detector with different types of malicious source code. The work described in this plan requires the application and development of concepts and techniques in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Informatics Engineering that are typically taught in the core courses of the study plan of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Informatics Engineering masters degrees.
Academic Qualifications
Enrolled in a masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Informatics Engineering, or Computer Science.
Minimum profile required
Programming experience; interest in cybersecurity activities
Preference factors
Experience with learning from data and source code analysis
