Computer vision


Work description

The CAGE project (INESC TEC / IPO Porto) aims to create a computer vision CAD prototype for gastric cancer screening. The grantee's work will take place at UTAD's facilities and are carried out within the scope of this project, with the following associated main tasks: - Investigate and develop new computer vision algorithms for the detection of injuries; - Prototype development and testing.

Academic Qualifications

Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related

Minimum profile required

The candidate must be a student in a PhD study cycle or non-degree course, with a master's degree equal to or higher than 17 (out of 20).

Preference factors

Knowledge in image processing, machine learning and experience deep-learning methods for medical imaging.
