Computer Science - Operational research

Work description

Addressing scheduling problems in flexible manufacturing systems and/or in environmentally responsible manufacturing systems. Since many issues arise within these problems, a cumulative integration approach is intended. Computational implementation of solution approaches, namely (meta)heuristics for these problems. Computational evaluation of the algorithms performance resorting to benchmark instances and/or test cases from manufacturing systems.
