- Identify and characterize the factors that influence the transport and distribution of parcels in an urban environment, in their multiple dimensions, and in particular in terms of air pollution levels; - Develop models and methodologies to assess and design alternative strategies and guidelines for delivering parcels (with a special focus on air pollution emission levels); - Test and assess the developed models in various case studies; - Write a report on the work carried out and the results obtained.
Master in Industrial Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
Minimum profile required
Knowledge of simulation techniques;Knowledge in databases;Knowledge in information systems design (requirements assessment, data modeling and database definition).
Experience in the development of quantitative models; Knowledge in qualitative research methods; Experience in logistics and/or environmental impacts; Publication of scientific results or communications in conferences. Fluency in English and Portuguese (spoken and written)
