Computer-Aided Diagnosis (CAD) in Lung's CT scans
The candidate will integrate the LNDetector project, which aims to develop a CAD prototype for nodule detection in computerized tomography images (CT). The prototype (already developed) will be working in the radiology of FMUP / CHSJoão, where physicians eyetracking data are collected during TAC analysis. The candidate will be responsible for the collection of data and the development of methodologies for gaze characterization and the study of the strategies used by radiologists during image analysis.
Students enrolled for the 1st time in 1st cycle of higher education or in a master's degree.
Minimum profile required
Interested in obtaining a M.Sc. degree, in the subject of the project; Experience in at least one of the fields of Image Analysis, Computer Vision or Machine Learning; scientific publications.
