INESC TEC participated in the Innovation and Technology Forum in Aveiro

INESC TEC participated in another edition of TechDays – Innovation and Technology Forum, which took place at the Aveiro Exhibition Park between 11 and 13 October.

With the theme «Building our future», this initiative aimed to create a forum for discussion and for dissemination of knowledge in order to learn how emerging technologies are redefining the businesses and the society itself. The programme included a technological exhibition, demonstrators exhibition, conferences and debates, and networking and gaming activities.

INESC TEC was present in a joint participation with TICE. PT - Pole for Information, Communication and Electronics Technologies in a stand that presented solutions for communication networks, sensors and tools in the area of Information and Communication Technologies.

TechDays had the involvement of research and development centres, companies of the sector and institutional users, connecting the companies to the scientific and technological system. In this event, it was debated themes such as: Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, Circular Economy, Mobility, Talents & Skills with speakers of national and international reputation. In the Industry 4.0 session, Luís Carneiro, member of INESC TEC’s Board presented the theme “iMan North Hub: Support for Digital Industry Transformation”.

TechDays was organised by the Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT) in collaboration with the University of Aveiro, TICE.PT, Inova-Ria and the Aveiro City Council.
